403 Invalid captcha when logging in

  1. Use their mirror, https://norf.lol/. Some Internet Providers in the US have blocked their website, so they made a mirror for those experiencing issues.

  2. Use a different browser.

  3. Enable or Disable your VPN.

How do I login to the launcher?

You can login to the launcher using your login token, which can be found on the website dashboard. Make sure you do NOT share this token with anyone.

Hardware ID Mismatch If you're getting this error on the launcher, it's because your Hardware Identifiers do not match what we have saved, and you will need a reset. To reset your Hardware ID, you can simply open a ticket.

Failled downloading assets

This error is caused when assets for North failed to download, this is due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Your anti-virus software is preventing you from downloading the assets, disable it.

  2. You're utilizing a VPN or Proxy. Disable it, it might cause issues with our servers.

  3. You haven't given the launcher Administrator privileges, make sure to run the launcher as admin.

  4. You might have OneDrive enabled, and it is taking over your Documents folder, make sure to disable OneDrive.

Injection Failed

This error is quite rare, but if you do come across it, here are some of the things you can do to fix it:

  1. Restart the launcher, sometimes it can glitch when downloading assets and not actually install them, this can happen when an update has occurred.

  2. Your anti-virus software is preventing you from injecting, disable it.

  3. Make sure you have a North folder in C:/Users/Your_Name/Documents, if you don't, try restarting the loader, or you can manually place the folder there by extracting the .zip folder below.

  4. You might have OneDrive enabled, and it is taking over your Documents folder, make sure to disable OneDrive.

Launcher not opening

If the launcher is not opening for you when running it, make sure Webview2 is installed. You can find it here: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/

LoadLibraryExW failed

This error is commonly caused by a missing file. Navigate to C:/Users/Your Name/Documents/North/Grand Theft Auto V and make sure you have cheat file.

Another issue why this is caused is because the launcher is missing launcher.dll, make sure to check wherever you unpacked the zip folder that the launcher.dll file is there as well.

Note: Your antivirus software could've deleted both of these files, make sure to disable your antivirus or exclude these files.

Crashing on injection

If you're crashing on injection, this could be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. You're injecting into GTA:Online, or the loading screen.

  2. Your game isn't running in windowed borderless. North requires GTA to be running in either windowed or windowed borderless, otherwise you will continue to experience crash issues

  3. Your game isn't running on DirectX 11. North requires GTA to be running in DirectX 11, if you're not using DirectX 11, your game will crash upon injection.

  4. Your antivirus software is effecting injection. Make sure to disable your antivirus or exclude ALL north related files.

If you have any further issues with loading GTA-V, make sure you've disabled your antivirus software. If you are unable to solve your issue, open a ticket.
